Hah. I'm thinking: the curtains are purple...is the carpet also purple...I thought it was a different color...hmmm...D'oh! That's approximately my thought process before I got it. :o) The hair looks good sistah. I think we should co-author a book called Hair Trauma.
I say rip out all the carpet and just stick with a bare floor.
Nothing feels better to the flesh -- assuming you take your socks off than a nice floor to slide around.
Do that and people will have no problem what curtains you have hanging up. Unless the rest of the house looks like shit of course.

Ang, the curtains would only match the carpet if they were to be completely removed from your house. Please don't do that. It would make it a less cosy place. Way less.
