Easy Come, Easy Go

Ahh well... back to square one. I didn't get the job in Amsterdam. The interview went very well, but when they called me the guy I spoke to said "We loved you and really would like to hire you, but we decided we need someone who can build websites."

Damn.

But I could tell that this guy felt awful about it. Luckily, his guilt pushed him into forwarding my resume onto another advertising agency. Maybe I'll get lucky with this other place.

In other news, my sweet Dutchman turned 28 yesterday! I made him a nice big meal because the way to his heart truly IS through his stomach. Of course, now, there's a pan of brownies in my kitchen calling softly to me... "Angela... we are chocolately and deeeee-licious... you want us... you want us... we promise not to sit on your thighs... "

This Saturday is our party here to celebrate our wedding. We have 50 guests coming and everything will be taken care of by the restaurant. I just have to eat, drink and be merry. And I'm sure I will be merry if my dress makes it back in time from the drycleaners. It's taking them awhile to clean it. Hmmm... could it be the 50 stains or so I found on it?

Okay, off to the gym. I'm still working on the "honeymoon pounds."

I got it goin' on!

Suddenly, out of nowhere, I have a life. This week I'm giving private English lessons to a German business man (read: cha-ching!) and tomorrow I have a big, BIG interview with a very cool company in Amsterdam.

So, basically, I have to teach for 7 hours tomorrow, get on a train for 2 1/2 and then be fresh-as-a-daisy for an interview.

Sure, no prob.

Wish me luck!

I have no excuses

Um, hello, anybody out there???

Hmmm... I wonder if I even have any readers left.

Oh well, here's something for you to chuckle at. This is a little taste of what my bachelorette party in Amsterdam looked like. I'll let you see more, but not all of them... because... well... my mother would be embarrassed.
