2000 Bare Butts in Amsterdam

Some of you may have woken up this morning, cracked open your Sunday paper, and while sipping your coffee, read about some crazy artist photographing some crazy people, a la naturel, in an Amsterdam parking garage.

My mother even sent me this article via email and, ha ha, she joked, I guess I know what you two, ha ha, did this weekend!

Either she knows M and I very well or she has spies planted here in Holland reporting my every move.

Because oh YES, INDEEDY, we WERE in Amsterdam freezing our tookuses off at 5:30am while a guy with a camera and megaphone blared things at us like "No, NOOO, the guy on level 2, please remove your t-shirt! You may NOT wear any clothing!" or... "Okay, now, I want all of you to turn around and put your hands on the outside of the parking garage." Maybe that last one doesn't sound too hard, but let me tell you it hurt AND it was scary. (When you see the pic, you'll understand.)

Unfortunately, I didn't bring a bike, so I couldn't be part of the "naked girls on bikes" part. Pity. I think it would've totally cemented me as a upstanding pillar of Dutch society.

If you've never heard of Spencer Tunick, go here to see his work: http://www.i-20.com/artist.php?artist_id=19

Oh, and when the picture comes out, feel free to buy it and mount it on your living room wall. I won't mind. :)
